As an Early Childhood Educator for 15 years, my training and my passion involve working directly with children, their families, and other early childhood professionals.
I began my work in Early Childhood Education in 2000, when I stumbled across my first preschool teaching job. I worked at a progressive little school in Palo Alto, CA, where the teachers and children were truly and deeply happy in a way that I had never witnessed. I stayed for eight years, hungry for the secret to creating this pure, divine love. I discovered that only my own personal growth journey could uncover the deeply hidden gems in myself that make me the early educator that I am today.
Since opening Beansprouts Preschool in 2008, I have worked with many parents, individually and as couples, to help them overcome parenting and co-parenting challenges. After years of working with families, I can detect where small changes will recreate harmony.
I also mentor early childhood educators both informally and professionally, in preschool and daycare settings, to help them turn child development theory into high quality, developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom.
